I love food and trying new recipes. I love photography, SmartWool, and Etsy. I especially love my husband and our baby boy. We have a really awesome blue heeler named Willie. We live on the Pacific Ocean in a rainforest on an island in Southeast Alaska. I write mostly about our chunky baby boy on Robot Baby and post lots of pictures of him on my Flickr photostream.

Last week the zipper on my 5 year old Outdoor Research raincoat totally blew and needs professional repair. This coat held up incredibly well and was completely waterproof. I loved the hood and the fit but always wished it was warmer. In my research to find a new raincoat I tried on the Outdoor Research Igneo, retailing at $280.00. The Igneo is waterproof and insulated and the hood is fantastic. I went home and found the Igneo for $140.00 on Department of Goods and it is available in Eggplant. I’m so excited!
